What is Right Call
Right Call© Arbitration
Committee is a group of racers from all teams signed up as Right Call©
members, committed to fair play from all RIGHT
CALL© participating teams, to make a final decision to
the out-come of a racing event after all methods of
settlement have been resolved. A qualifying Racing Event is
any League Race put on by any Racing League that is a member
of RIGHT CALL©.
Where
do I post the results of a Right Call
All participating RIGHT CALL© members must designate a web
page for the posted results of their RIGHT CALL© decisions
that were made during their League Races. or Post results in
the designated forum decided by the members.
How does Right Call
work
To which a Racing
Incident can not be resolved to a reasonable
settlement between players, or a promoter of a race has made
a decision and was rejected by one or more players or a
promoter fails to give a decision on a incident for any
reason. A player involved in the incident
shall only need to say I want a RIGHT CALL© at that time no
settlement negotiations between players and
promoter may
continue in the browser or in ventrilo. If one continues to
disrupt or argue discarding the order for calm and quiet,
the hosting League Promoter may/shall impose penalties on
such a player not limited to banning from servers and/or
future league races and may include future races promoted by
RIGHT CALL© members. If a driver is suspected to be running
illegal during a race, A promoter may ask for a
RIGHT CALL© to prove if he was or was not illegal, If the
driver is proven to be illegal by
RIGHT CALL© members he shall be barred for two weeks from
racing any RIGHT CALL© events along with all his
points for the protested race shall be stricken from the
records. Any protesting or protested racers will not
post in any teams guest books or forums about
the incident nor the out-come. There will be no bashing of players or teams
by either party. Such bashing won't be tolerated by any
RIGHT CALL© members or their teams and these type actions may bring a
complaint before the RIGHT CALL© committee for arbitration
of penalties against a single player.
How many people is needed
for a Right Call
Once a request
for RIGHT CALL© by a player is ordered, the team hosting promoter
of the race
shall ask for a RIGHT CALL© Arbitration. If 3 or more of the Committee
members are present he may order
them to a private area to review and make a RIGHT CALL©
final decision right then right there. If there are not 3
committee members available he shall send a email or IM (Yahoo) to
the members of the Committee for a review. If the Party
involved in the incident is a RIGHT CALL© committee member
he can not attend or be present during the arbitration he
can not sway or have an opinion on the process nor make
contact with another member of the committee during the
arbitration, he must remain silent.
What does the
committee look at
The
Committee's duty is to review everything that has been submitted
IE- skins, cars, track, replays, setups, any typed
information, etc. all committee persons then must discuss
with-out predigest, what they think happened (arbitration) they must review the
hosting teams rules of play, ? does the decision by the
promoter fall under the guidelines of these rules, ? is the
infraction covered under the rules, ? Is this a incident that
is new (Never happened before) ? Is the penalty given to harsh, not covered in the
rules of play. ? Is
the penalty lop sided in favor of the hosting team.
After careful an methodical consideration, they take a
verbal vote the majority vote wins the decision, if the vote
is a tie, they go back and arbitrate until the tie is broken
and that becomes the final decision.
How long does it take for a final answer
A
requested RIGHT CALL© will be reviewed totally including all replays and information necessary to make a
quick and accurate RIGHT CALL© decision. Every RIGHT CALL©
decision shall be returned in 24 hours from the time it was
submitted. and the Hosting Member shall make a entry on
their RIGHT CALL© web page or forum, posting: Who was
the hosting team, the Date, and the Race Name, as
well as the track, to what happened during the race, what evidence was presented and
reviewed, and what was the RIGHT CALL© decision, and which
teams were present that made the RIGHT CALL© unanimous final
decision.
Who can be a member of Right Call
A
RIGHT CALL© member shall be a owner of a team or a member
of that team that the owner has assigned to act in his
behalf so long as it is posted on the RIGHT CALL©
membership roster, the owner can assign one other person they trust
whole heartedly to act as a stand in agent for his
team only in the absence of the acting member.
Can my teams
Sub-League use Right Call
A
member that has Sub-Leagues has the Right of Use but can
not add other members to the RIGHT CALL© roster. Only
RIGHT CALL© members
are allow to make the RIGHT CALL© decisions for Sub-Leagues.
A Sub-League has the right to Opt Out if it was posted in
their rules at the beginning of the series.
What if a member is involved
in the protest
All
RIGHT CALL©
arbitration must have a minimum of three RIGHT CALL©
members and at no time can a protesting or protested member be present. a
protesting or protested member may have representation by his
team
stand-in. In the event the stand-in is not present he will
be represented by the available RIGHT CALL©
members.
How will I be treated after
making a Right Call
ALL RIGHT
CALL© members and teams shall be treated with respect by
all members no matter what the arbitration decisions and
out-comes are, remember the shoe may be on the other foot
someday.
Can a promoter change the
Right Call ruling if he wants
ALL RIGHT
CALL© decisions will be final with out the right of appeal
or arbitration by another entity.
